John Moulton Papers, 1799-1800, 1820.

John Moulton was a ship captain; he was master for the Ship Mary and the Brig Rambler. Collection includes a marine insurance document for a journey from Beverly, Massachusetts to Spain or Portugal on towards the West Indies and return to the United States. Also included in this collection is a letter from his brother, Tarbox, freight bills, and accounts for payment to the crew. In 1820, Captain Wellman was the captain for the Ship Mary. This collection includes a pilot's bill and a health inspection for that ship at that time.
